Overview
Project RNDR is a business-focused AI rendering studio for designers, builders, and contractors. This Privacy Policy applies to the Project RNDR website, account experience, and rendering workspace (the “Service”).
The Service is operated by Vance Posey, an individual doing business as Project RNDR in Austin, Texas, United States. Vance Posey is the operator and controller responsible for the personal information described in this policy.
By using the Service, you acknowledge the practices described here. If you use Project RNDR for a client or employer, make sure you have authority to upload and process the information you provide.
Information we collect
Account and workspace information
We collect information such as your email address, company or workspace name, authentication records, account role, and settings.
Project and rendering content
We process project names, optional client names, room information, notes, uploaded source images, visual references, prompts, preservation controls, generated images, revisions, version history, and presentation content that you choose to provide.
Usage and technical information
We collect records needed to operate and secure the Service, including generation usage, credit claims, storage usage, request identifiers, timestamps, error and reconciliation records, IP addresses and comparable network identifiers, device or browser information available in standard server logs, and security events.
Newsletter and product feedback
If you request to join and confirm the newsletter subscription through the email sent to you, we collect your email address and subscription status. If you send an authenticated feature request or problem report, we collect the category, summary, details, current application page, account identifier, and workspace identifier needed to review and respond.
Cookies and local storage
Project RNDR uses essential cookies and browser storage to maintain authenticated sessions, remember the active workspace, preserve in-progress requests, and provide core application functionality. We do not sell information collected through these technologies.
How we use information
- Provide, maintain, secure, and troubleshoot the Service.
- Authenticate users and enforce workspace access controls.
- Generate, edit, store, compare, and present rendering outputs.
- Track usage, storage, quotas, and generation credits.
- Recover safely from interrupted uploads or generation requests.
- Communicate about accounts, security, service changes, and support.
- Send product updates when you expressly join the newsletter and review feature requests or problem reports you submit.
- Comply with law and protect users, Project RNDR, and others.
AI processing
When you request a render or edit, Project RNDR sends the information required to fulfill that request—including relevant images, references, and instructions—to the configured AI service provider. Project RNDR currently uses OpenAI image-generation services.
AI providers process this information under the provider terms and data-handling commitments that apply to Project RNDR’s use of their services. Do not upload highly sensitive personal information, regulated data, or material you are not authorized to process. AI outputs can be inaccurate or unexpected and should be reviewed by a qualified person.
Retention and security
We retain account and project information while your account is active and as needed to provide the Service. You can delete individual projects and request account deletion through account settings. Deletion workflows remove active database records and associated private storage, subject to limited retention in backups, security logs, legal records, or records required to complete and verify deletion safely.
Project RNDR uses private storage, signed asset access, tenant isolation, authentication, authorization checks, and operational safeguards. No internet service can guarantee absolute security, so you are responsible for protecting account credentials and promptly reporting suspected unauthorized access.
Your choices and rights
You may access and update certain account information through the Service. You may delete projects or request account deletion from account settings. If you are the sole owner of a workspace, account deletion also deletes that workspace and its project data. If you are a member of a workspace owned by someone else, organization-owned project content may remain after your individual account is removed. Depending on where you live, you may also have rights to request access, correction, deletion, portability, restriction, or objection to certain processing.
You can unsubscribe from newsletter messages using the unsubscribe link included in those emails. Product feedback may be retained as an operational record after account deletion, with the submitting account reference removed when the account is deleted.
To make a privacy request, email contact@projectrndr.com. We may need to verify your identity and authority before completing a request. Authorized agents should provide proof of authorization.
The Service is intended for business professionals and is not directed to children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
International use and policy changes
Project RNDR and its providers may process information in the United States and other countries where they operate. Those locations may have different data-protection laws than your jurisdiction.
We may update this policy as the Service changes. We will post the revised policy with a new effective date and provide additional notice when required.
